Summary
The Integration & Transformation Specialist will play a key role in developing and implementing strategic initiatives that drive long-term growth and profitability at TravelCenters of America (TA). This individual will work closely with all parts of the business to define priorities and ensure individual business goals are aligned with the broader business strategy. This person will also seek opportunities to connect teams across the TA and bp organizations to deliver value and drive efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Analytics: Collaborate with business stakeholders to define long-term goals and actionable initiatives
- Market Research & Competitive Intelligence: Build competitive intelligence frameworks to evaluate TA’s market position and identify areas for improvement. Develop forward views of industry trends, competitive landscape and ensure decisions today are fit for purpose in the future
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with key departments to ensure strategic alignment and integration across all areas of the business at both TA and bp. Proactively flag gaps and risks
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Facilitate innovative thinking across teams to identify new areas for growth or simplification
- Communication: Prepare and present findings, recommendations, and strategic plans to senior leadership and key stakeholders. Communicate complex concepts and strategic insights in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate development/strategy, investment banking, or related field preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and business case development required.
- Proficiency in Excel and Power BI preferred; experience with SQL, R, and/or Python is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and develop innovative solutions.
